A 21-year-old Hilo man faces multiple charges following a stabbing Sunday evening.
Police on Tuesday charged Cohlby R. Espaniola with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree robbery, second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia.
The victim, a 39-year-old man, was in stable condition Tuesday at Hilo Medical Center after being stabbed in the face, chest and arms at a house on Leilani Street.
Police ask anyone with information about the case to call Detective Kayne Keli‘i at 961-2378 or the police nonemergency number at 935-3311.
